Hello users of the internet and welcome to the Hobbit SBG Strategy Battle Guide! On this blog I hope you will find some articles of use to you in your Hobbit hobby, or at least some deluded views to laugh at if not; on that note, it’s worth stressing here that all of the views I post here are only my own and are definitely not held by everyone else, and in some cases anyone else, in the Hobbit SBG community or outside it and my advice will certainly not be utterly sound on all occasions. In a similar vein, the Hobbit SBG is the property of GW and I do not claim to own any part of it: I am merely expressing my own opinions. I have also taken care to only use non-copyrighted images which shouldn’t be too offensive to anyone, but if anyone has any objections to particular images I am using for any reason feel free to comment/email me and I’m sure we’ll be able to sort out any issues.
For those of you that aren’t put off by all that, some of the content I will be posting here covers my ideas on certain tactics, tips for beginners, unit and army reviews and possibly battle and tournament reports (both of these will obviously depend on when I can get a game/attend a tournament, so if you’re a particular fan of these I apologise) and anything else I can think of that I feel browsers of this site might find interesting. Feel free to suggest ideas on future content and review existing stuff: discussion of ideas is always good and I’ll try to respond when I can; however, expressing the full statlines of models is completely forbidden as I’d rather not be taken to court by GW. If you feel this is reasonable, please comply with this rule, thank you. Other than that, comment away, but try not to offend anyone. I may have to take action if things get personal rather than ‘academic’, as it were. Bad writing style? Different ideas to me? Comment, discussion on these kind of things is great as it will help me to make the content better and show browsers of the site different viewpoints. Bear in mind that at the moment you will need a WordPress account to comment, unless I can find a way to change this.
